How to Maintain the Thermostat Wire for BBQ Grills

Daily Cleaning Instructions

1. Power Off and Cool Down:
Before cleaning, make sure to disconnect the power supply and allow the thermostat wire to cool completely. Cleaning while hot may cause burns or damage to the wiring.

2. Removing Surface Stains:

  • Grease: Use a soft cloth dampened with a neutral cleaning agent (such as dish soap) to gently wipe the surface. Avoid using strong acids, alkalis, or corrosive solvents (e.g., bleach).

  • Carbon Build-up: Use a soft-bristle brush or an old toothbrush to remove stubborn carbon deposits. Do not use metal brushes or abrasive tools that may damage the surface.

  • Moisture: After cleaning, immediately dry the surface thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth. This helps prevent oxidation or short circuits caused by moisture.

3. Avoid Immersion:
Keep the connector area dry at all times. Never submerge the entire wire in water, as this may cause internal dampness and affect the electrical performance.
